Hey, does anyone know any good tattoo removal cream (or gel, etc) to get rid of a 1 month old tattoo? it's really dark black right now and i want it to fade lighter at least. will using creams interfere with laser removal surgery later down the road? does laser removal become more difficult depending on how old the tattoo is? does anyone have any other advice on the issue of tattoo removal?. I'm gonna go with no. anything topical won't penetrate deep enough to make any difference to the ink in your skin. sorry to dissapoint. i would suggest, if it's already quite light/faded, go get it covered up by a good artist.. I used the tat b gone tattoo removal cream and it did not work in the least bit. i had 7 tattoos and was using this cream. it burned like hell and did nothing to my tattoos. i ended up getting laser removal and now only have 5 tattoos remaining. the laser does hurt, dont get me wrong, but it works very well. it did not leave a scar on me at all..
Creams do not work, nor can you "go to the parlor and get it removed professionally" as suggested above. tattoos are permanent. the only real way to get rid of an unwanted tattoo is to go through many sessions of laser removal which is both more painful and more expensive than the tattoo was in the first place..
